308S92 is an austenitic stainless steel wire intended for use with the tungsten inert gas arc welding process. The Esab grade is known as Tigrod 16.10 which is primarily used for welding stainless steels of similar composition (18% chromium, 8% nickel) 304/304L stainless steels used for corrosion resistant service.
