The number one choice for general welding, cutting and repair applications. Acetylene is the hottest and most efficient fuel gas on the market, making it the preferred product for many applications.

It is also the only fuel gas hot enough to weld steel, when using our oxygen and acetylene together, flame temperatures can reach an amazing 3500°C (6330°F).

For the rent free acetylene user, the 15.9 litre Ultra cylinder is filled with 2,805g of product giving a raw, uninterrupted welding time of 1070 minutes (using a number 5 nozzle)

Acetylene is becoming increasingly difficult to source for the small user. Hobbyweld now have the rent free answer!

If this is the first time you buy a Hobbyweld Gas Cylinder, then you must also add to your cart the Hobbyweld Cylinder Deposit. When cylinder is returned permanently, the deposit is fully refunded, less a £10.00 administration charge.

Please be advised that all Hobbyweld cylinders are delivered on Wellington Welding's own vehicles by your local depot. To cover the costs involved, there is a £10.00 charge. There are no charges for collection.
