Hobbyweld 5 is ideal for Mig welding sheet and thin sections of mild steel up to 5mm thick, such as car bodywork and light sheet metal work. It is easy to use and provides a sound weld at very little cost. The potential for porosity is minimal. Hobbyweld 5 is the best selling gas in our range and is used widely on single phase Mig sets.
Hobbyweld 5 is a professional mix of 93% Argon, 5% CO2 and 2% Oxygen and has traditionally been used by garages and sheet metal workers. The 2% Oxygen content increases arc stability as well as giving good penetration and fusion profile.

Please be advised that all Hobbyweld cylinders are delivered on Wellington Welding's own vehicles by your local depot. To cover the costs involved, there is a £10.50 charge. There are no charges for collection.
