Hobbyweld Ultra Cylinders offer a larger capacity of gas than compared to the Original size cylinder.

For the rent free acetylene user, the 15.9 litre Ultra cylinder is filled with 2,805g of product giving a raw, uninterrupted welding time of 1070 minutes (using a number 5 nozzle)

They are supplied with an in-built regulator and we provide a quick fitting connector which allows for standard 3/8" hose connection.

When first taking on an Ultra cylinder you must pay a deposit which is mostly refundable if you wish to terminate and return the cylinder without taking a refill. Currently the refund is £289.00 against an initial deposit of £325.00, as of October 2017.

After the initial deposit is paid future refills will only attract the ongoing gas fill charge.
