Ultra Cylinders have been available since August 2014.

The Ultra Argon cylinder holds 6.06 cubic metres of gas and is suitable for all Tig welding operations and Mig welding of aluminium. The extra capacity of this cylinder means it is viable for medium use users who are fed up with paying rental and collection/delivery charges from the major industrial gas suppliers.

The increased pressure makes Ultra cylinders the most cost effective in terms of refill value and they last a whole lot longer than similar products on the market, providing 460 minutes of continuous welding time out of an Ultra welding gas cylinder based on a recommended gas flow of 14 litres per minute.

The Hobbyweld Ultra cylinder is supplied with no monthly rental fees, simply pay a one-off part refundable deposit plus the gas charge and no more monthly bills.
