The Kemppi Minarc 220 is a powerful yet lightweight MMA welding machine ideal for use in workshop and site environments. Minarc tolerates large fluctuations of input voltage making it excellent in field conditions with long cables or electrical supply is via generators. Designed with portability and outdoor use in mind, the Minarc has durable casing, is easy to carry with shoulder strap and well protected control knobs. Built in protection against overload, over voltage, humidity and dust ingress ensures excellent reliability. TIG welding is possible with the scratch Tig function. 

Kemppi Minarc 220 is a 415v input and a 220 Amp output and both its power capabilities and features have increased considerably over the Minarc 150/151. Maximum output in stick welding mode has increased to 220Amps at 35% Duty Cycle whilst weight is still a very manageable 9.2Kgs.

The Kemppi Minarc's superior arc performance is based on high voltage reserves and automatic Arc Force. These guarantee that the arc will remain stable in all positions with any current and even using long cables up to 50m. Automatic Hot start gives perfect ignition in all conditions. U/I-welding characteristic curve has been redesigned with special application to the Anti Sticking function which ensures electrodes do not stick to the base material.

For someone requiring enhanced duty cycle welding and the capability of running up to 5.0mm electrodes or 4.0mm electrodes all day then this machine deserves serious consideration.
